Human Feeder Cells
Pluripotent ES/iPS stem cells require feeder cells to maintain an undifferentiated state. Feeder cells are typically fibroblasts that provide essential nutrients and other complex molecules, such as cytokines and growth factors, that support healthy cell culture while preventing cell differentiation.
The quality of feeder cells is a critical factor in maintaining stem cell pluripotency. Lot-to-lot consistency must be tightly controlled through well-established, robust manufacturing practices. At MTI-GlobalStem, each lot of feeder cells is thoroughly PluriQ™ tested for the highest quality assurance. Our human fibroblasts (NuFF) are available in a variety of configurations, to ensure successful culture conditions in your laboratory.
Human feeder cell options:
- NuFF-RQ™ (Reprogramming Qualified)
- NuFF IRR (Irradiated)
- NuFF Mito-C (Mitomycin-C Treated)
